damascus - Syrian government supporters have taken to the streets after the rocket attack on their land. Hundreds of people gathered in the capital Damascus. They held photos of the Syrian leader Assad, waved flags and chanted slogans.
In Aleppo hundreds of people also took to the streets to express their support to the government and Russia, an ally of the Syrian regime. Many people seemed to think that the Syrian air defense rejected the attack.
Russia reported earlier that dozens of Western projectiles have been intercepted. The US deny that.
