kabul - The Afghan authorities have foiled an attack on the Indian consulate in Jalalabad. Two men were arrested. Security officers also took materials seized that bombs can be made.
The consulate is located in the east of the country, relatively close to the border with Pakistan, and is frequently attacked in the past. Tensions between India and Pakistan over the disputed Kashmir region have recently risen sharply again. Monday was still attacked a police academy in Pakistan. In addition, sixty people were killed. Responsibility for the attack was claimed by terrorist group Islamic State.
