Fire is advancing to Saskatchewan

- Fire raging in and around the Canadian city of Fort McMurray, is still expanding. Meanwhile, the fire has an area of ​​200,000 hectares in the province of Alberta in its grip. The authorities fear that the fire will spread to the province of Saskatchewan, which is about 75 kilometers away.

The hope of the hundreds of fire fighters in the vast area is also located on the arrival of rain. Meteorologists have predicted that Sunday or Monday precipitation may fall. For now the fire is fanned by a strong, hot wind. Rachel Notley premier of Alberta, told local media that the fire for the time being is not yet under control.

The authorities have now almost completed the evacuation of 80 000 residents of Fort McMurray. Nobody was injured. The fire has already destroyed 1600 houses and other buildings in the city.
