Fiat pulls 'sexist' handbooks back

World June 10, 2016 08:48

- Fiat Argentina draws in a handbook for a car groups back after sharp criticism from women's groups which would allow it sexist lyrics. Thus, women are consistently put down as co-pilot, because the man should be the director and,, to take the place of the alpha male '.

,, If a woman's skirt is too short, we recommend that they sit in the back so we did not lose our concentration. If her skirt is not too short, but your hand often goes astray, they can better sit back, '' advises the book. Women 'co-pilot' want to be, should have at least,, nice legs '', quotes the British newspaper The Guardian.

Women groups reacted bitten on the book, right after they had gone to the streets to protest against violence against women. The Argentine branch of Fiat suggested on Twitter that the automaker regrets that the handbook had an effect and that it was not meant to be disrespectful.
