austria - UPDATE 18.45- A train from Hungary to the Netherlands has been quiet in Austria since last night. An overhead line has been crushed by emergency weather. There are about 900 train passengers. It would mainly be for Dutch passengers returning from the Hungarian music festival Sziget in Budapest.
That is what the NOS reports.
On Friday afternoon around three o'clock the train departed from Hungary. The train is on a station in Austria. The passengers can get out of the train.
Due to the emergency weather, the station is unreachable, which means that passengers could not be picked up by bus, says a tour operator.
It is expected that the stranded travelers will arrive early in Amersfoort only sunday morning.
