Fear and trembling: meters high lava flow in Hawaii backyard residents

hawaii - After the eruption of the Kilauea volcano on Hawaii, at least 21 homes have been completely destroyed. There were no injuries. Spectacular images of the eruption have been made from a helicopter. It shows how the lava flow leaves nothing of (holiday) homes with a swimming pool.

Around 1700 inhabitants of the area around the volcano sought a safe haven. Displaced islanders can go to multiple reception centers.
