Fatal overdose painkiller USA

- Fourteen people are deceased and dozens of people have become ill in the US state of California after taking a pill that looked like a popular painkiller. They received a fatal overdose. That US media reported Wednesday.

The painkiller Norco pills were found to contain a large amount of fentanyl, an opiate that is many times stronger than morphine. The poisoning first came to light in and around the city of Sacramento. There, 52 people were sick of whom eventually fourteen deceased. Meanwhile, there are seven people in San Francisco ended up in hospital after using the painkiller. They have survived.

Authorities are investigating where the pills come from.
