bad konig (hessen) - A seven-month-old boy died in a tragic biting incident in the German Bad König. The child was bitten in the head by what is supposedly a cross between a Staffordshire terrier with a different breed.

That happened in the child's parental home. The boy, called Jannis, was rushed to the hospital, where it died from his injuries.

What exactly happened in the house on Monday evening remains unclear. The father (23) and mother (27) of Jannis warned the emergency services, but for the child all help came too late. The parents are in shock.

The police do research in the home, the dog is included. The animal is described as 'aggressive' by experts.

It is the second time in a short time that Germany is startled by a deadly biting incident. A week ago things went wrong in Hanover when a Staffordshire terrier attacked and killed his owner (27) and his mother (52).
