- One of the longest serving managers in the fast food industry, the president of McDonald's, retires. The 86-year-old Andrew McKenna was a quarter of a century in the government of the world's largest hamburger chain, with more than ten years as supervisory chairman (chairman).

After his resignation in May, the fast-food veteran remains honorary chairman of the company. When McKenna in 1991, sat on the board of the American hamburger giant McDonald's had just opened its first office in Moscow and a year later the company was active in the Polish Warsaw. Since then, McDonald's has grown into a chain with over 36 000 branches in more than hundred countries.
