Farewell to old NATO headquarters

brussels - NATO said goodbye to the place where the policy of the Western Alliance was formed for over fifty years and many historical decisions were taken during and after the Cold War. For the very last time, the NATO Council of Foreign Ministers- the highest body of the alliance- met in Hall 1 of the headquarters on the outskirts of Brussels.

In a few weeks NATO will definitely move into a brand new, gigantic and over 1 billion euro headquarters on the other side of the Leopold III boulevard in Evere. The move is already in full swing.
