Family shooter Texas 'bewildered'

'We are just as shocked and stunned as everyone else. We are grateful for what fellow students have said, that Dimitri was a smart, sweet boy. We do not know exactly what happened, but what we have heard from the media is not consistent with the boy we love. They wish the victims a lot of strength and thank all emergency services for their efforts.

The seventeen-year-old boy shot dead at the school on Friday and injured another ten. According to the Texas governor Abbott, the shooter wanted to commit suicide but he did not dare. Pagourtzis eventually surrendered to the police.
