False alarm in Metro Brussels

brussels - Part of the metro and tram traffic in Brussels Wednesday between a quarter past eight and half past ten halted after the discovery of a suspicious package at the Rogier station. The demining service of the army came to pass in order to make the package harmless.

It turned out that the package contained no explosives or other suspicious material. What there in it, was not disclosed.

The package on the tram and metro station was noticed by a subway driver. The police took no chances and immediately ordered four tram and two metro lines shut down.
