'Facebook may block pseudonyms'

- Facebook may be German require users to use their own name. A German court ruled that the social network may prohibit pseudonyms.

The verdict is profit for Facebook, which allows for years that the policy to allow only real names users sure they know with whom they share information and protecting them from abuse on the Internet.

The lawsuit was a result of statements made by the German privacy watchdog, which some in July that Facebook is not unsolicited pseudonyms in the real names of users may change and should not ask for identification.

The judge ruled that Facebook is no action required to indicate the pronunciation of the privacy watchdog, because it is headquartered in Ireland and the company therefore is subject to Irish law.
