menlo park - Facebook has introduced its own video platform. With Watch, Mark Zuckerberg's concern wants to compete with YouTube. The service is first rolled out by a small group of users in the United States.

Users can find Watch as a tab in Facebook's app and website. It's a personalized page of programs that recommends Facebook and shows that friends have viewed from the user. While watching, people can respond and see comments from other viewers.

The programs for Watch will be made especially for the platform. For the time being, it's only about American programs, such as a children's cooking show. A baseball game is also broadcast weekly from the Major League live.

For the time being, programs are being made for a select group of users. Later, everyone should have the opportunity to make a program and offer on Watch. This will probably happen if the service is rolled out. It is not yet known when Facebook Watch brings Europe.
