- Facebook launches around Mother's temporary reactions in the form of a flower.
According to tech site The Verge discovered a user the ability in the source code of Facebook. The company had then issued a statement in which it admits to experimenting with temporary reactions. Earlier this year, the social media increased the potential for reactions already well off: in addition to an ordinary smiley users can now include leaving an angry, sad or hard laughing smile beneath a post.
The purple flower for Mother's Day is not available in all countries, according to Facebook. The option will disappear after a few days, but rather placed flowers remain visible.
