lansing - The man who had to supervise gymnast Larry Nassar, appears to be prosecuted for sexual misconduct. William Strampel is suspected of, among other things, being touched by a student and making sexually explicit remarks, the American newspaper Lansing State Journal reports.
The now seventy-year-old Strampel was dean at the University of Michigan. He is the former boss of Nassar, who has been sentenced to a prison sentence for the sexual abuse of young athletes. The police arrested the former dean on Monday.
Court documents show that several women have made a statement about the behavior of Strampel. In 2010, for example, he would have taken hold of the right buttock of a student. She made no mention of that at the time, according to her own statements because she feared being sent off school.
