Evidence: so often disappointing sex leads to break-up

amsterdam - Bad sex a dealbreaker? According to a new American survey though.

More than two thousand Americans participated in the research that was conducted by 'One Poll and Pure Romance'. The questionnaire they had to complete consisted of questions about disappointments between the sheets. This is how Metro Nieuws reports.

The research showed that 60 percent of couples experience sex as bad sex for the first time. 71 percent of the participants said that once bad sex would not immediately mean the end for the relationship.

Several successive disappointing experiences in bed, however, lead to a break-up. On average, 4.5 times bad sex is the end of a new relationship.

Factors that are labeled as bad sex are: no cumshot, no foreplay and a bed with dirty sheets.
