EU agree to label products settlers

brussels - The European Commission Wednesday formally decided that products manufactured in the territories occupied by Israel in Jewish colonies should be recognizable. The labels must now state that they come from a country which is occupied by Israel since 1967.

Israel regards the measure as discriminatory, but according to the EU, this " technical measure " only meant to illustrate good for European consumers and it is not a political step. To date is displayed for products from the territories that they come from Israel. These are mainly food products that represent only a very small part of the trade between the EU and Israel.
