Erdogan pulls out at the beginning of the Jerusalem summit

istanbul - Israel is a terrorist state and the American decision on Jerusalem is a reward for its terrorist acts. These firm statements came out of the mouth of the Turkish president Recep Erdogan on Wednesday at the start of the special summit of the organization for Islamic cooperation OIC.

On the initiative of Erdogan, the countries are meeting about the recognition by the American President Donald Trump of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The Palestinians also see Jerusalem as their capital.

Erdogan is one of the sharpest opponents of that recognition and he says he wants to set the Islamic world in motion with the top. According to Turkish statements, at least 20 countries are represented at the top, including Iran, Indonesia, Jordan, Qatar and Kuwait.
