Erdogan: continue to fight against terrorism

istanbul - Erdogan said Sunday that Turkey will fight against all forms of terrorism and organizations that support it until the last breath. He responded to the shooting at New Year night at a popular nightclub in Istanbul.

An unknown perpetrator opened fire on the festive crowd and killed 39 people, including several foreigners. One of the victims was a Turk with a Belgian passport. A young Israeli woman was killed.

'As a nation, we will fight to the end against not only armed attacks by terrorists and their accomplices, but also against their economic, political and social attacks,' said in a written statement, Erdogan left. 'They are trying to create chaos, to demoralize our people and to destabilize our country with appalling attacks targeting civilians.
