Eleven dead by bus accident with tourists

mexico city - Eleven tourists were killed in a bus accident in Mexico. A further 20 people were injured when the bus hit and tipped over in the eastern Mexican state of Quintana Roo on Tuesday. Among the victims are Canadians, Italians and Mexicans, reported the newspaper El Universal.

The bus transported tourists from a cruise ship moored in the port of Mahahual on the Riviera Maya. They wanted to visit the archaeological site of Chacchobén, 70 kilometers away. The bus driver fled after the accident.
