Elephant kills two women dead

madi - A wild elephant has kicked two women to death in Nepal. This happened near the city of Madi, along the border with India. According to the local police, the victims were 35 and 60 years old.

The women looked for food for their cattle at the moment the elephant attacked them. It is unclear why that happened exactly.

In Nepal animals are more likely to attack people. Two weeks ago, a leopard killed another four-year-old girl in front of her own home.
