Egyptian Muslims beset Christian woman

- Furious Muslims in Minya in southern Egypt Christian homes set on fire and a seventy nude woman chased through the streets, because evil tongues claimed that her son Christian had an affair with a Muslim woman. Police have arrested five suspects and searches eighteen others.

The man fled already on May 19, along with his wife and children. His parents stayed behind and went to the police because they feared for their lives. The next day, gathered a crowd of about three hundred men for their home, which burned and pillaged. The lady of the house was stripped in the street and taunted. Six other houses were looted and set on fire, eyewitnesses said.

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi condemned the violence Thursday. He wore repair the local authorities and the army all damages within a month.
