Duterte is heading for victory in Philippines

- Rodrigo Duterte is fast becoming the new president of the Philippines. The current mayor of Davao City Monday led the dance of the election with 40 percent after almost half of the votes counted.

His closest rival Grace Poe is according to some sources at 22.2 percent of the vote. Philippines counts 54 million registered voters.

The 71-year-old Duterte is a former prosecutor to say the least 'rough in the mouth.' He stunned many people during his campaign by, among other things to brag about affairs after using Viagra pills and watching the rape of a nun.

On the presidential candidate's story also goes that as mayor he ordered the death squads to kill about a thousand criminals. Although he denies that fact, he'd started as a populist opponent of the crime. The people gave him the nickname the Chastiser.
