vancouver - Canada gets a 59-year-old Dutchman Monday to the Netherlands. A court in Vancouver took this decision because the man a criminal possession. The man has lived since he was seven months old in Canada, but has never been a Canadian citizen. His parents have never requested.

Every non-Canadian who has been given a prison sentence of at least six months will be automatically deported from Canada. There is without appeal. The Dutchman has ever been sentenced to nine months in prison.

The Canadian site CHEK NEWS reported Saturday that the court in Vancouver to make the request of the Dutch an exception for him, did not grant. According to the judge the Dutchman knew for years that he would probably be put out of Canada so that it has had enough time to prepare for a life in the Netherlands.

The Dutchman says he suffers from bipolar disorder, he got under control. He also wanted in Canada care of his 81-year-old mother. Moreover, he knows no one in the Netherlands and he does not speak Dutch. Therefore, he asked the judge to make an exception.
