Drunken truck driver asleep on highway

- German police struggled to get a drunk truck driver awake behind the wheel of his truck on the ring road around the southern German Munich had fallen asleep . According to German media reports the man had some 4 per mille of alcohol in his blood ( eight times more than allowed) and he was parked with the lights out on the left lane of the A99 motorway.

The police were alerted by other road users , the truck driver shortly before he fell asleep lurching had seen driving on the road. The 46 year-old man can look forward to a fine and his license will probably lose some time.
