Drugs longest tunnel Mexico- USA discovered

- On the US-Mexico border tunnel discovered destined for drug trafficking in the Mexican city of Tijuana. It is with a length of almost 750 meters the longest smuggling tunnel has been uncovered so far, US authorities reported from southern California. Besides the tunnel over a thousand kilos of cocaine and 700 kilos of marijuana were found.

Police have arrested six people. The Mexican newspaper Excelsior reported Thursday that the tunnel from a house in Tijuana went to the border and then another 460 meters under American soil to a building in an area for industry and commerce in Otay Mesa, southeast of the city of Chula Vista. It turned out one of the best built and longest tunnels have been found. In the past five years there have been between Mexico and the US states of California and Arizona for more than 75 smuggling tunnels discovered.
