- A nineteen year old from Amsterdam has been stopped Saturday afternoon near Schiphol because he let fly a drone. The trooper was on his trail after a witness had reported that a drone was flying near the flight path of the airport. The police unit and the images created with it confiscated.
The man will fly down with an unmanned air vehicle borne in controlled airspace. The public prosecutor will decide whether and what punishment he gets it.
Flying in the so-called 'controlled airspace by air traffic control' is prohibited because it can bring traffic at serious risk.
