Drama on beach: five dead
- On the hottest day of the year in England on a beach as many as five people drowned. Before the eyes of hundreds of bathers at Camber Sands, south of Dover, the rescue services were trying to save lives in vain. In the afternoon, three people died, were found two bodies in the evening.
According to the rescue services was dangerous for the coast of Sussex County. By sandbanks emerged strong currents. Rumors that the tragedy was caused by a large group of jellyfish have been dismissed as false by the authorities.
The English police rode on the beach with several cars and called on swimmers to stay out of the sea. 'We saw that three people were removed from the water. It was chaotic at the beach. Parts were dropped off and it seemed that both emergency and other beachgoers provided assistance, 'said the 30-year-old Natalia Taylor in British media.
