Dozens of boat people drowned

- With two boat accidents in the Aegean Sea between Greece and Turkey on Monday 33 people drowned.
Twenty-two people died when the boat they were in capsized on the Edremit coast in Balikesir province, said an employee of the Turkish Coast Guard.
The Turkish news agency Dogan reported that eleven people drowned when their boat sank off Dikili in Izmir province.
