Doel 1 nuclear reactor is shut

goal - The Belgian reactor Doel 1 zaterdavond is automatically disabled. What's the matter, is not yet clear, but there is no danger to people or the environment, says a spokeswoman for the nuclear power plant.
Goal 1 was just last Wednesday again turned on and connected to the grid.
The nuclear reactors Doel 1 and Doel 2, which are within 2 kilometers from the Dutch border, date back to 1975. They were shut after forty years, but the Belgian Government has decided to maintain in operation until 2025. Goal 2 was starting up again on December 24th.
