washington - The head of the US federal disaster fight FEMA expects many devastations in Florida and other southern states by hurricane Irma and he said his organization stands for massive efforts. Brock Long also warned that parts of Florida may come without electricity for days and that it will be necessary for more than 100,000 people.

Irma is expected to arrive on Sunday (local time) at the southern tip of Florida on Saturday night. The hurricane is then attenuated to a category 4 but still has devastating wind speeds.
