washington - Senators of Democrats in the United States are angry because more than 100,000 documents about candidate for the Supreme Court Brett Kavanaugh are not made public by the White House.
Senator Dick Durbin said in an interview with Fox News Sunday that this is the first time that so many documents have been kept secret. 'If he is so proud of his conservative past, then it must also be made public. ''
In total, almost 130,000 documents are kept secret. 27. 000 of these come from the time he worked for President George W. Bush. Republican senators say there is still enough information to prove that Kavanaugh is a good judge.
Kavanaugh has been nominated by President Donald Trump as a judge in the Supreme Court. The Senate must still approve the appointment.
