Deaths collapsed bridge Bali

- By the collapse of a bridge near the Indonesian tourist island of Bali on Sunday at least nine people were deceased and 30 people injured.

According to local authorities, the Yellow Bridge collapsed a bridge that connects two small islands near Bali together.

It would have been too busy on the bridge, where many people were on their way to a religious ceremony. The bridge broke down (click for photo) around 18. 00 pm local time. Many victims fell into the water and had large pieces of the bridge itself. No tourists were among the victims.

Water under the bridge was only two meters deep, allowing people who fell hard ended up on the bottom.
