Death toll collapsed flat Taiwan toward 100

- The death toll from the collapsed flat in the Taiwanese city of Tainan rose further. There are now recovered 94 victims. At least thirty others are still missing, report the Taiwanese news agency CNA.

Six days after the disaster, the search is still under way in the south of the country, but there is little hope that there are survivors found under and between the rubble. Since Monday is no longer saved. However, Friday was a trapped dog found alive.

The sixteen-storey building collapsed Saturday in an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4. Other buildings remained standing well under the force of nature. The authorities believe that construction defects underlying the collapse of the condo. Three former executives of the now defunct construction company stuck.
