Dead by mud avalanche Italian Alps

rome - In the Italian Alps a man was killed after a landslide. A woman who was in the car with him is still missing.

The accident took place on Monday evening in the Val Ferret mountain valley near Mont Blanc. Several cars were hit by debris and mud, reports the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera. Around 120 people had to be evacuated. They are housed in a sports hall and at a golf club. The victim comes from Milan.
