Dead and wounded after attack with crossbow
toronto - Three people were slain after being attacked with a crossbow in the Scarborough district of eastern Canadian city of Toronto. A suspect was taken into custody, but the motive is not known.
The incident happened Thursday afternoon, report Canadian media. Police and ambulances were called because of reports of, initially, a stabbing with multiple victims in the area of Lawndale Road and Argo Road. Later it was found that people with a crossbow have been attacked.
Toronto police confirmed that three people, two men and a woman, were killed in the attack. All three victims were adults, but further information about their identities were not immediately available.

One person was taken into custody at the scene, but details about a possible motive were not disclosed. Streets were closed in the area and investigators are on site to start an investigation.
