Dangling child (2) rescued from balcony

- When a casual passerby saw a boy dangling from the balcony of the fifth floor of an apartment building in China, he did not hesitate for a moment. The war veteran climbed up to free the 2-year-old from his awkward position. Bystanders have filmed the spectacular rescue action.

The South China Morning Post reports on this. Zhang Xin heard howling last Wednesday as he walked past the building. When he looked up to find out where the sound came from, he saw the boy hanging on the balcony fence. The boy remained stuck to his head, his legs dangling in the air. Zhang Xin never thought for a moment and climbed spectacularly through the outside of the balconies to the fifth floor.
