- Hackers managed to steal personal information from as many as five million customers from toy manufacturer VTech. They made ​​use of a vulnerability in the appwinkel Learning Lodge.

VTech is next to ' normal' toys also tablets for children and has a private appwinkel before with educational apps, children's books and other downloads. Unfortunately for customers proved their data to be well protected. The hackers did include names, addresses and passwords to loot, though the latter is encrypted. Nevertheless, customers are advised to change their passwords. VTech stressed that no credit card or other payment dates have been stolen.
