the hague - The investigation chamber of the International Criminal Court in The Hague officially ordered Al-Tuhamy Mohamed Khaled's detention on Monday. He is suspected of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Libya in 2011.

Al-Tuhamy was one of the closest assistants of dammator Muammar Kaddafi. A sealed arrest warrant was already in place in 2013. This has now become apparent and made public at the request of the prosecutor, hoping that the international community will pick up and deliver the former head of Libyan secret service.
