mogadishu - Somali security forces have nine crew members of an Indian cargo sailing ship freed from the hands of Somali pirates. The traditional 'dhow' was early last week raided by pirates and taken.
The ship was en route from Dubai to Bosasso. It was the second case of new piracy in the region. In March boarded Somali pirates for the first time since 2012 again a vessel, a tanker. They left the ship eventually after a battle with the navy of Puntland, an autonomous part of Somalia.
