Convoys in Damascus

geneva - A convoy carrying aid arrived Friday in Douma, a city under siege on the outskirts of the Syrian capital Damascus. Douma is largely in the hands of rebels and is only 10 kilometers northeast of the center of Damascus. The government has authorized the United Nations to provide the besieged city of assistance.
On the other side of Damascus, in the southwestern suburb daraya is also a convoy arrived with relief supplies, the UN reported Friday. It first started since the siege of the city by government troops in 2012, there arrives an aid convoy.
