amsterdam - Consumers have plenty of fight that affect telecom providers to win souls. Companies are increasingly offering additional services to keep customers happy or just to hold on to. Thus consumers are bacon copper, reported ABN AMRO Wednesday in a report on the telecom sector.

ABN AMRO states that revenues from traditional services such as fixed telephony and SMS have declined rapidly. Data transfer on the other hand, it is precisely an increasingly prominent role, thanks to the advent of services like Netflix, Spotify and WhatsApp.

The quality of the network, the structure of the subscriptions and services for telecom operators is crucial in order to retain customers, ABN says. The consumer connectivity as an essential item to see , concludes the bank.

ABN stressed that total packages combining fixed and mobile telephony, Internet and television are integrated increasingly gaining in popularity. Telecom companies also offer increasingly attractive 'own' content to differentiate themselves.
