Considerable increase deaths from yellow fever Angola

luanda - The number of deaths due to an outbreak of yellow fever in Angola has risen to 158. This has the World Health Organization (WHO) said Friday. Last month, the death toll was still at fifty.

The eruption began late last year. The virus that causes the disease is transmitted by mosquitoes. Luanda and other cities in Angola also have to contend with an increase in malaria, cholera and chronic diarrhea. That is partly due to poor sanitation and waste collection, said the WHO.
