veldhoven - The issue with the Eritreans who came in vain for an extended multi-day conference in Veldhoven, was reportedly completed by the police in the night of Friday on Saturday. The hundreds of conference goers were brought to different locations by bus to spend the night there and then go their own way. They all worked 'perfectly', according to the police. A small number immediately chose his own path.

The 550 Eritreans came for a youth movement meeting. It has ties with the authoritarian regime that is the service in their country of origin. Yemane Gebreab, known as the right hand of President Isaias Afewerki, would speak.

Eritreans who fled the regime, demonstrated at the convention. After taking rioting broke out, the mayor decided to ban the conference in order to protect public order. Its organization hoped the ban through the courts to undo, but caught flounder.
