Colombia and FARC want UN Observer Mission

havana - The Government of Colombia and the FARC leftist rebels agree that there should be a monitoring mission in Colombia. The United Nations must ensure that the parties adhere to a truce. Under Traders in the peace talks in the Cuban capital Havana will soon submit a request to the UN.

The government and the FARC hope for March to have reached a peace agreement, the BBC reported Tuesday. It would, according to the two parties be best if the UN peacekeeping intent of twelve months in order to allow implementation of such an agreement in the right direction.
