- The Dutch coast guard plane patrols performing above the Mediterranean on Wednesday found a ship carrying migrants in distress. That feed at that time off the coast of the Italian Catania.
The crew heard a distress call from the boat and discovered the yacht moments later, about 125 kilometers off the coast. The Dutch warned the Italian Coast Guard and brought the boat with 116 migrants on land. Three people, who were on the boat have been detained as suspects of human trafficking.
