Coalition close compromise on pgb

- The government parties VVD and PvdA found a solution to their disagreement about the personal budget (PGB) in the Health Insurance Act. The PGB people with disabilities can self-manage their care.

Tuesday appeared shortly before the parliamentary debate on the issue that the coalition parties accounted for a small majority in parliament, now do not want to include additional requirements in the law that health insurance companies must abide by assigning the PGB.

The Labour Party meets the VVD. Initially, the PvdA found that health insurance companies too often deny a request for a PGB. Like all opposition parties wanted the PvdA therefore include additional safeguards in the Health Insurance Act. Now find the party as the VVD that there may be additional terms later.
