Tech August 1, 2017 10:51

mountain view - Google will block distracting and blocking ads in future versions of Chrome. That reports Techcrunch.

The most recent version of the mobile browser, Chrome Canary, already contains a built-in setting that allows users to block ads that Google stamps as 'pushy'. These include pop-up ads and videos that automatically play.

Google already suggested such a measure earlier this year. When the adblocker is rolled out in the normal version of Chrome is not yet known.
