Chinese Twitter-boss resigned

beijing - Kathy Chen left as director of Twitter in China. According to Reuters Chen sees no added value in her work because the Asian team Twitter now switch directly with Chinese advertisers.

Chen was appointed eight months ago to bind to Twitter Chinese advertisers. The idea then was for China to set up a separate team that besides APAC (the rest of Asia) would rotate. According to Chen does not mean she left to work in China has been in vain. The targeted advertisers have been taken over by the APAC team in Singapore. Twitter also still holds office in Hong Kong.
